Finding a life jacket that fits a pug’s broad chest and short neck is so difficult, but this orange one is a perfect match! The buoyancy kept his little face well above the water in the outdoor pool. He swam around so confidently and looked adorable. Absolutely love it!

We took our pug to an indoor doggy pool party and this jacket was fantastic. It’s so comfortable that he was able to easily rest his paws on the edge of the pool and hang out with the other dogs without feeling choked or heavy. The bright orange color also made it super easy to keep an eye on him. Great design!

Our little 10 pounder loves to swim, but his coat is so thick, it really weighs him down. This helped tremendously. It’s a bit tough to get on him because he fights it. We also learned to carry him tipped down a little in front so he doesn’t wiggle out of it. Once on him though, he is easy to carry and to get out of the water with the handle and he doesn’t seem to mind wearing it. I can tell he likes having it in the water because he paddles all over with his tail wagging instead of struggling to keep his head up as much. The only other issue is that we sometimes catch some fur in the velcro which hurts when we take it off, but most dogs don’t have quite as much fluff as this guy. He was right on the border between sizes, so I sized up for him and it fits perfectly.

Oh my gosh! Perfect fit, perfect color as turquoise is the best color for my dog. At first she didn’t like it, but when I put her in the pool with my day care girls she had a blast!!! The chin strap doesn’t help, but other than that, no complaints.

High quality swimming/ rescue vest. Measurements: My dog is a Jack Russell terrier that gone through a litter and she is a little bit bulky on the stomach area/chest therefore the regular size would not fit, choosing from the big dog vests solve the problem and the size I ordered was surprisingly a small which fit perfectly. My dog’s weigh 8.5kg Her stomach size- at the bigger area is 18inch or 46 cm and so size S vest was just perfect, I have tighten the stomach straps t a little bit more just to make it snug. There was plenty of options for adjustments, but it was the right size anyway. Another cool thing that I thought the company is doing is providing a measure tape that came with the vest very useful in the event that you did not get the right size. It’s also useful if you wanted to add some Velcro since some dogs have really small neck. (See photo) I bought a set of vests for my dogs last summer and we use them when we swim with them in the pool, but I wanted them to have another set for Emergency usage to keep in our car in the event we need to evacuate from the area due to storms etc’ . (We live in FL) This vest was on the higher end as far as cost, but it is very pretty and has one more feature that I like which is the added part at the front of the neck, which helps them avoid straining the neck too much since it is floating and preventing water to touch the mouth as much. It is light as for weight and also has glowing, reflecting, stripes, and the way that you secure the belts on the dog looks a little better than the cheaper vests. But honestly, the color was the winning factor more than anything. It is just so pretty. It came fast and in a nice box. The only feature I might add for this vest, not sure it’s even possible to do , is add battery/ solar lights to make it more suitable for emergency situations…but I know it is a bit excessive. 🙂
